1. About these terms
By creating an account or placing an order on Chowlink you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. We may update these terms and will show the new effective date on this page.
2. Who can use Chowlink
You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for keeping your login details private and for everything done through your account.
3. Ordering and payment
Prices, availability and preparation times are set by each vendor. Delivery orders carry a delivery fee and a service charge that are shown in full before you confirm. Payment is taken in the app and an order is only confirmed once payment succeeds and the vendor accepts it.
4. Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel before a vendor accepts your order. Once a vendor has started cooking, cancellation is at the vendor's discretion. If a vendor rejects your order or cannot fulfil it, you are refunded in full.
5. Vendors
Vendors pay a subscription to be listed. Vendors are responsible for food safety, hygiene, accurate menus and honest pricing, and must hold any licences their business needs. Chowlink may suspend or remove a vendor that receives repeated complaints.
6. Dispatch riders
Riders are independent and accept deliveries through the app. Riders must handle food safely, deliver promptly and treat customers and vendors with respect. Delivery fees earned are shown in the rider dashboard.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the platform: no fraudulent orders, no abusive behaviour, no attempts to break or scrape the service, and no impersonating another person or business.
8. Liability
Chowlink is a marketplace connecting customers, vendors and riders. Food quality is the responsibility of the vendor preparing it. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order.
